New jewels

Today a post of mine who has nothing to do with cosmetics. I would like to show you a few trinkets that have moved in with me lately.

the pictured jewelry I bought at SIX . Each part has cost € 4.95. Especially funny, I found the owl ring. As he so vividly worked, it is in everyday life, not always practical because it is like to hang me, but he had to. The ring will certainly not take the personal taste of many, but I am currently really into owls and found the ring in this form very unique.

Also, I've never taken this flower ring. I like the colors very well and he fits the slow coming of spring:)

Carnival Mani - Blue / Glitter

The Mani is to honor the royal couple held in a royal blue, with the MNY 661 as root. I have not been stingy with the glitter! I mean, if you wear to carnival not glitter, then when? :) So I LA Colors to paint in the color Aqua Crystals used and this is only a fabulously beautiful film! As a top coat I have my favorite Rival de Loop took Glitter Topper (unfortunately, the only glitter paint on the brand:)), it is number 37, which gives the whole a bit of fine colored glitter.

On Sunday, I'm with some friends went to the Broadway rock / jukebox musical "Rock of Ages". The story revolves around the club "The Bourbon on Sunset in Los Angeles in the 80 '. The German accent was very exaggerated, eg "siss" instead of "this", etc. The only thing

His answer: "I'm not gay, I'm just German!" Really? But I guess you have to see the play to understand my point here! So i f you have the chance to see this musical you should do it. Even better if you grew up in this decade as I did! It's just awesome!

Catrice - New range

Today I was in the Kaufhof and I thought I can not see properly, but the new Catrice range was already there! I was overwhelmed by the many new coatings and also on the Enter Wonderland LE, which was already in the new shelf. I was not personally addressed by the new LE, but there were definitely some beautiful products with it, such as metallic eyeliner. Since I have been missing but the tester and without testing, I never buy anything again. The highlight of the LE also acted more like a perfectly ordinary, light powder. I have to say is that it is of Kaufhof illuminated very modest. If the next time I have more time, then I will look at everything again in peace. I've taken

today the nail polish Meirmaiden 490 Iron, 420 Dirty Berry and eyeshadow base.

The two nail lacquers in the many blogs were my favorites, so could / had to be bought today. Iron Mermaiden looks phenomenal from the bottle! I have both him and Dirty Berry here on my current Mean & Green Mani coated in a layer and both Mean & Green well covered. The dry season was also good, all without flash dryer. I am very enthusiastic about the Holocaust in light Dirty Berry. Iron Mermaiden I would describe it as the frosted version of MAC's Mean & Green from the Venomous Villains LE. He alternates from a gray / green Tone in a violet depending light. Dirty Berry is a beautiful purple Milka with a touch of Holo. The I Wear My Sunglasses At Night I was also raised a lot, but I'll look at him next time.

The Catrice Eyeshadow Base had to necessarily because Manhattan is my base got sick and crumbly. Fractal Time
We would like to draw attention to a magnificent new book constituting a tour de force on the philosophy and science of fractal time. The author is Dr. Susie Vrobel who is the main pioneer of the wider implications of fractal time in philosophy. We enclose her Preface. The book is published by World Scientific 2011.

The author of the blog post, almost certainly El Naschie, calls her " Dr. Susie Vrobel" as you see above. I don't think that's correct. Anyway, I can't find a PhD in her online CV .

Here's Susie Vrobel's version (MP3). Not only does it lose the angry, sassy tone of the original, it screws up the most important lyric, the dénouement.

Original:

The narrator taunts her unfaithful lover by extolling the sexual prowess of a new paramour. It's the whole point of the song.

Compare Susie Vrobel's version:

It doesn't even make sense. Did she not understand? Did she mis-hear? My theory is that she liked the song, and understood it, but felt a feminist compulsion to "improve" it.

Thilo finds the thesis amusing, but gives Dr. Kerri Welch a break because she is, after all, not a mathematician or physicist but a philosopher of some sort. He concludes

As long as one does such work only in philosophy (and not in mathematics) as a PhD, it's still all right, I would say.

Isn't that too charitable though? A thesis in philosophy (or any other subject) that uses math idiotically should be rejected until the math is fixed or removed. Her woo-woo thesis advisor Brian Swimme is incompetent in this regard. In spite of having aligned himself with the powers of the Universe , rudimentary mathematics remains beyond his abilities. So it is up to others to point out the sham that is A Fractal Topology of Time and the scam that is the California Institute of Integral Studies.
